For former Denver Bronco receiver Ed McCaffrey, football runs deep in the family. Ed has brought more than his share of talent to the NFL, with his sons Christian (running back, San Francisco 49ers), Luke (wide receiver, Washington Commanders), Max (offensive assistant, Las Vegas Raiders), and Dylan (former quarterback, University of Northern Colorado).

Recently, his son Luke brought back memories of Ed when he made a ridiculous catch against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Nicki Jhabvala, Commanders Beat writer the athletic, Place a catch Ed made for the Broncos in 1997 or 1998 (the uniforms are not light blue, and Elway was throwing the ball to McCaffrey) next to Luke’s catch, simply captioning it: “Like son, like son.” The closures are almost identical, with one corner hanging over your shoulder, extended for a big gain.

Ed played 13 years in the NFL, in Denver from 1995 to 2003, winning two Super Bowls with the Broncos. He totaled 462 receptions for 6,200 yards and 46 touchdowns in Denver. Meanwhile, his posterity is doing very well.
