The Pittsburgh Steelers have been busy making moves on the practice squad just one day before their Sunday Night Football matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, including the return of a previously released former third-rounder.

On Saturday, the Steelers elevated LB Mark Robinson to the game-day roster, promoted RB Trey Sermon to the 53-man roster and signed DL DeMarvin Leal to their practice squad, the latter of which was just released Thursday.

Selected with the 84th overall pick in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft, Leal now offers the Steelers additional depth in multiple roles on the defensive line.

The return of Robinson and Sermon for the Week 10 matchup against the Chargers will likely be focused on special teams, a much-needed move with Pittsburgh dealing with a variety of injuries on that side of the ball.
