US Representatives Ro Khanna and Gilbert Ray Cisneros, Jr. also bought shares of Microsoft Corp (NASDAQ:MSFT) in September. MSFT recently reported strong quarterly results, as its Azure cloud business grew approximately 40% year over year. To put it in context, Amazon’s Q3 AWS revenue growth was 20%, while Google Cloud was up 34%.

Wedgewood Partners stated the following regarding Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) in its Letter to investors for the third quarter of 2025:
“Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) has also spent quite a bit on capital expenditures over the past few years, having secured more than 2 gigawatts of data center capacity in the last 12 months alone, but it has also produced very attractive low cash returns. It emerged from its fiscal 2025 with nearly $370 billion in gross property, plant and equipment and capitalized leases, a notable increase of $260 billion over fiscal 2020. Meanwhile, the gross cash crunch rose from $60 billion a year in 2020 to more than $140 billion a year in 2025. When we add up the rest of the assets on Microsoft’s balance sheet, We estimate its gross cash floors to be a steady return on capital in fiscal 2020. 20 years. This is an extraordinarily attractive return for such huge amounts of investment.”
