The stakes have risen even higher: the 2025 Qatar Grand Prix will have major implications for who will take the title of F1 drivers’ champion this year.

Before the Las Vegas Grand Prix, the championship picture seemed pretty clear, but everything changed last weekend. With Red Bull’s Max Verstappen dominating in Sin City and both McLaren drivers being disqualified for excessive drift, this race has become very open.
Lando Norris still leads the group by 24 points, but he is not safe. If he beats Verstappen and Piastri by two points in Qatar he will be in good shape, but if not, the title fight will be decided at the season finale in Abu Dhabi.
