The Wolverines have their center of the future, as 2026 three-star offensive lineman Adrian Hamilton switched his commitment from Virginia Tech to Michigan.

The 6-foot-2.5, 290-pounder is a native of Washington, D.C., and plays high school football in St. John’s with fellow Michigander, three-star running back Tariq Boney. Hamilton committed to Virginia Tech in July over other schools like Virginia, Pitt, West Virginia, Michigan State and others.

But everything changed when head coach Sherrone Moore offered him a scholarship to Michigan in early October. He took an official visit to Ann Arbor for The Game and made his final decision shortly after.

Despite playing left tackle in high school, Hamilton projects to the center position at Michigan. Fellow three-star Bear McWhorter will man one of the guard spots, while four-star Marky Walbridge and Malakai Lee, as well as three-star Tommy Fraumann, will play tackle.

Hamilton is DC’s No. 3 player, No. 55 interior offensive lineman and No. 657 overall recruit in the 2026 class in the 247Sports composite. You can check out some of the highlights from his senior year below.
