Holloway (27-8 MMA, 23-8 UFC) and Oliveira (36-11 MMA, 24-11 UFC) wanted to push back and will get their wish at the March 7 event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas (Paramount+).

The first meeting ended in disappointing fashion at UFC Fight Night 74 in August 2015, when Oliveira suffered an injury early, giving Holloway the TKO victory. The circumstances of the injury remain somewhat mysterious, but both men have since become legends of the sport and will fight in just the sixth BMF title fight in the company’s history.
Both Holloway and Oliveira attended Friday’s 2026 “IT’S ON” season press conference and, after talking about their rematch, locked eyes with each other.
