Tillman was trying to make a tough catch over the middle when Titans safety Xavier Woods threw his shoulder into Tillman’s helmet. Tillman was immediately knocked to the ground and began fencing. Browns and Titans players directed medical staff to enter the field immediately after the play. The referees threw a flag at Woods for targeting. The penalty helped extend the Browns’ drive. They would then score six points to cut the Titans’ lead from 14 to 8.

The Browns lack the receiving talent to lose valuable starters like Tillman. Tillman has been battling a variety of injuries throughout the season. Tillman is a valuable receiver for the Browns. It is the team’s biggest goal. They need Tillman on the field to build confidence in the young quarterback. Hopefully, Tillman can return to the Browns next week when they take on the Chicago Bears.
