Wolves sold Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri to Manchester United and Manchester City for a combined £92.5m last summer.

Meanwhile, captain Nelson Semedo left the club on a free transfer.
The Midlands team signed six first team players: Fer López, Jhon Arias, David Moller Wolfe, Tolu Arokodare, Ladislav Krejci and Jackson Tchatchoua.
But the transfers have not worked out for Wolves, who have endured a disastrous 2025-26 campaign.
They currently sit bottom of the Premier League table after recording just two points from 15 matches.
The club’s manager Jackson admitted his summer mistakes in an interview with BBC Radio WM.
He said: “The players they brought in did it for the right reasons, but when you get two points at this point you have to say it’s wrong because any starting XI we’ve put out hasn’t been good enough.

“We have great confidence in the development of those players. The ability and willingness to improve has been excellent, but you want immediate returns.
“It’s difficult how we can get into the market for our players. We don’t have infinite resources, so we’re trying to find players in markets where others aren’t necessarily looking.”
Relegation seems almost inevitable for Wolves, who have not won in the Premier League since April.
They sacked Vitor Pereira in November, replacing the Portuguese with Rob Edwards on the bench.
But things have not improved under the former Middlesbrough manager, who has lost all four of his games in charge.

The players are putting in all their effort but the lack of quality means that they are not achieving the desired results.
Unless Edwards manages to inspire a massive comeback, Wolves will almost certainly suffer relegation to the Championship.
They will look to make some quality additions in the winter transfer window, but it remains doubtful whether the players will be willing to join the relegation-fighting club.
