Mbow, currently in his first season in Ligue 1 with Paris FC, has quickly established himself as a key figure in the team’s defensive line. Following an impressive 2024/25 campaign in Ligue 2, the 25-year-old has carried his form into the top flight, where he has become an automatic starter. The Senegalese international, who has played a full cap, has already played 14 league games this season, constantly demonstrating his defensive reliability.
Despite being under contract with Paris FC until June 2028, Mbow could be tempted by a move to Germany as Leverkusen look to strengthen their defence. The club management is reportedly keen to add depth in defence, particularly now that Edmond Tapsoba will be absent due to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Leverkusen’s interest appears concrete, as club representatives were present at the Stade Océane last Sunday to watch Mbow in action during Paris FC’s Ligue 1 clash against Le Havre on matchday 15 of the season.
