Facing 2nd and 5 at the Green Bay 17-yard line with just under three minutes remaining until halftime, quarterback Bo Nix threw a screen to Franklin, who ran 10 yards before being tackled by Packers safety Javon Bullard. The game officials, led by referee Brad Rogers on Sunday, declared the play dead at the seven-yard line.

However, a look at the replay reveals that Franklin never touched the ground when he landed on top of Bullard:
Fortunately, Franklin getting robbed of a touchdown didn’t end up costing the Broncos points, as Nix threw a five-yard touchdown pass to Lil’Jordan Humphrey two plays later. And Franklin ended up scoring a touchdown (that’s what it was) in the third quarter. Denver won 34-26, so in the end no harm was done.
