September 16, 2025 –Proscia, a company of pathology, recently announced the next step in its collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to address two of the most pressing challenges of digital pathology: managing the increasing data volumes and standardization of data together. It has integrated its concentiq platform for pathology, from the discovery of drugs to the diagnosis with AWS Healthimaging to provide laboratory and life sciences organizations a native cloud base, accelerating routine workflows and feeding precision medicine initiatives promoted by AI. AWS Healthimaging is an eligible service for the Hip-to store, analyze and share images of entire slide in the cloud at Petabyte scale.
Pathology provides one of the most detailed and direct profiles of diseases such as cancer, informing up to 70% of clinical decisions(1). Concentiq, delivered as software as a service in AWS, maximizes the value of these data combining proven workflows, interoperability and native with business degree, storage optimization and elastic scalability for profitable performance on scale. Concentiq now admits aws Healthimaging, offering critical benefits for customers who manage data from entire slide images, which include:
- Quick recovery: Customers can quickly access complete slide images from the cloud with subssequent image time at the first time, allowing high performance workflows.
- Interoperability of the business scale and incorporated standardization: With the native-native storage of AWS Healthimaging and the Dicomweb ™ API Dicomweb ™, Concentiq offers neutral data management in the supplier that advances the strategies of current and future business images of customers. This standardization brings together pathology along with radiology and other imaging modalities, which reduces it above. The integration also cements the concentiq dicom leadership after its support was validated in eight main scanner suppliers in spring 2025 Dicom Wg26 WSI Connectathon.
- Ai Data Foundation: Through concentration, the pathology data stored in AWS Healthimaging are accessible to the development of AI and easily usable by AI applications. Today, concentiq customers take advantage of artificial intelligence tools developed by Proscia, developed third parties and their own harvest, all of which can benefit from faster access, lower cost and that complex the data of the pathology image through AWS Healthimaging.
- Simplified migration: By consolidating the inherited files in the DICOM standard, the integration of concentration with AWS Healthimaging reduces its load without sacrificing the continuity of the data so that the laboratories can upload and function quickly.
Integration with AWS Healthimaging is based on Proscia’s long collaboration with AWS. As a member of the AWS Association Network (APN), Proscia offers completely managed national implementations, helping laboratories to adopt and operationalize the pathology driven by AI with higher speed and agility. Today, 70% of Proscia customers execute concentiq in AWS, achieving implementations up to 5 times faster and reducing the total property cost compared to inherited or local systems.
As an APN member, Proscia has reached several key milestones, which include:
- Acceptance in the accelerated program to accelerate AWS Independent Software Supplier (ISV), a program of selling co-light for AWS partners that provide software solutions that are executed or integrated with AWS. This validates the posture of architecture and security of Proscia and unlocks the support and collaboration of the joint sale with Aws Field Sellers.
- Participation in the AWS ISV work charge migration program, a program that supports APN members with a SAAS offered by AWS to boost and deliver workload migrations, helping laboratories to the transition of inherited or local systems to concentrate on AWS with faster deadlines. Customers also benefit from financial incentives to compensate for the costs of cloud migration.
- Concentiq AP and Concentiq ls are available in the AWS market, simplifying the purchase and management of concenti within customer market accounts. Speaking on Proscia software can help customers withdraw their fees from the Business Discount Plan.
“The expansion of our collaboration with AWS through the integration of AWS Healthimaging is based on the success that we have collectively achieved to help the main laboratories and organizations of Life Sciences to climb in pathology,” said Coleman Stavish, Cto de Proscia. “It reinforces our commitment to interoperability and Dicom standardization while empowering customers to take advantage of the latest cloud services to advance precision medicine.”
