Kubiak, 38, has quickly become one of the most sought-after candidates in this coaching cycle. After serving as the New Orleans Saints’ offensive coordinator in 2024, he joined Seattle’s staff and has received wide praise for his creative playmaking and player development.
His name first appeared in the Giants’ search late last month and gained momentum after the team formally requested permission to speak with him earlier this week.
The Giants are conducting an extensive search. While reports indicate they remain primarily focused on pursuing former Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, they have already interviewed Mike Kafka, Antonio Pierce, Kevin Stefanski, Raheem Morris and Vance Joseph.
Denver Broncos special teams coordinator Darren Rizzi will also receive an interview.
New York has already complied with the NFL’s Rooney Rule.
