Former national championship-winning Georgia Bulldogs offensive coordinator Todd Monken has interviewed to be the head coach of the Cleveland Browns. Monken was most recently the offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens before the Ravens fired head coach John Harbaugh.

Monken is an interesting candidate to watch as eight NFL teams look to hire head coaches this offseason. Monken was actually the Browns’ offensive coordinator in 2019 before serving as Georgia’s offensive coordinator from 2020 to 2022. Many Georgia fans would love to see Monken return to UGA, but it’s not likely to happen.

Monken is a candidate for NFL head coach and NFL offensive coordinator. He could join former Ravens coach John Harbaugh as his offensive coordinator wherever Harbaugh ends up. Harbaugh is expected to be the most sought-after head coaching candidate this offseason.

Cleveland also requested an interview with Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Aden Durde. The Browns are also interviewing their current defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz and offensive coordinator Tommy Rees.
