New York Giants rookie sensations quarterback Jaxson Dart and running back Cam Skattebo and their friendship was one of the funniest stories of the 2025 season. Dart and Skattebo took the time to talk to SB Nation about their friendship, their first impressions of John Harbaugh and more on Radio Row in San Francisco ahead of Super Bowl 60.
It’s not something fans tend to think about much, but every rookie’s first season in the NFL is a grind, largely because there is no break between his final college season and the end of his rookie NFL season. Bowl season, the Combine and draft preparation, pro days and then minicamps and settling into their NFL homes is a whirlwind, and they can’t really catch their breath until their rookie season is over.
That doesn’t mean Skattebo and Dart were happy about the break.

“You never want to end a season early,” Dart said. “Honestly, it’s been a little difficult to watch the playoffs and not be a part of it. But I think it’s just a driving force to make sure it doesn’t happen again.”
The duo also shared their first impressions of John Harbaugh, what it meant to them to spend their first NFL season together and much more. Dart and Skattebo spoke to us on behalf of Bounty paper towels, because you can’t have football without wings and you can’t have wings without Bounty. The Bounty paper towels made their way to Skattebo, who spent most of our talk trying to get wing sauce out of his shorts. Cam Skattebo: he’s just like us!
Many thanks to Dart, Skattebo and Bounty for their time.
