Hyde Park: The historical city that was the home of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt has taken measures to catch up with modern technology. At the meeting of the Board of September 8, the Board of the City of Hyde Park unanimously approved the entry of an agreement with TD Bank for the payment of several positions collected by the city departments, including tax payments. For a three percent rate, users can now use Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit cards to pay any of their invoices or rates of the city.

“We hope that this additional payment option will make it more convenient for those who wish to use it,” said the city supervisor to Torregiani. “The personnel in the departments that will accept this form of payment will be trained on the Commercial Services board, in time for the school tax collection period.” Torregiani said the plans are moving forward to accept online payments for the end of the year.

Hyde Park’s Senior Secretary Danielle Motter was accredited for her work to supervise the implementation of new services.
