During the first wave of free agency, Philadelphia saw the departure of Josh Sweat (Cardinals), Milton Williams (Patriots), Kenneth Gainwell (Steelers), Mekhi Becton (Chargers), Isaiah Rodgers (Vikings), Fred Johnson (Jaguars), Parris Campbell (Cowboys), Darius Slay (Steelers) and Oren Burks (Bengals).

Still, they bounced back to make what were considered key signings, adding AJ Dillon (RB), Joshua Uche (LB), Adoree’ Jackson (CB), Charley Hughlett (LS), Patrick Johnson (LB), Avery Williams (KR/PR), Matt Pryor (OL), Kylen Granson (TE), and Azeez Ojulari (OLB), to name a few.
With the Super Bowl completed and the offseason underway, we turn our gaze to the 2025 free agent class.
QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson
In a move that was expected, the Eagles waived former UCLA quarterback and Browns draft pick Dorian Thompson-Robinson following the acquisition of Sam Howell last summer. Dorian-Thompson performed well in the Eagles’ practice, but struggled against Cleveland in the second preseason game and did not see any snaps in the preseason finale against the Jets.

OL Kenyon Green
The 6-foot-4, 325-pound offensive guard had three different stints with the Philadelphia Eagles, who released Green for the third time since trade camp concluded, months after trading CJ Gardner-Johnson to the Texans for the former first-round pick. Following his release, the Baltimore Ravens announced the addition of Green to the practice squad. The 2022 first-round pick started 23 games in Houston, but missed the 2023 season with a shoulder injury and was one of the NFL’s lowest-rated players during the 2024 season.
OL Kendall Lamm
Lamm, a versatile offensive tackle, started seven games for the Dolphins in the 2024 season, but was placed on injured reserve and later underwent back surgery. After signing with the Eagles last March, Lamm was released from training camp and returned to Miami.

OL Matt Pryor
Pryor played 122 snaps on the season, allowing three sacks.
RB AJ Dillon
Returning from a neck injury, Dillon saw action in seven games, but saw his playing time decrease significantly after the Eagles acquired Tank Bigsby. Overall, Dillon played in seven regular-season games, caught three passes for 21 yards, and was inactive in the Eagles’ playoff game.
OLB Josue Uche
The pass rusher played 241 snaps on the season, recording 23 pressures, 15 tackles and a sack in 12 games.
TE Harrison Bryant
After being traded to the Texans, Bryant had two catches for seven yards in 12 games.
CB Adoree’ Jackson
The 30-year-old veteran signed a one-year deal with the Eagles in the offseason and improved for Vic Fangio as the season went on, outperforming Kelee Ringo and Jakorian Bennett.

L.S. Charley Hughlett
Hughlett served as a long snapper in seven games this season for the Eagles, all of them wins. Signed to a one-year contract in the offseason, Hughlett was the long snapper for the first four games before landing on Injured Reserve with an abdominal injury. He returned for the final three games. Hughlett joined the Eagles after 10 seasons with the Cleveland Browns, where he was a team captain.
OLB Patrick Johnson
Johnson returned to Philadelphia this season and spent time on both the practice squad and the 53-man roster. In total, he has played in 70 games with two starts and has 26 tackles, 1 sack and 15 special teams tackles. Johnson was part of Philadelphia’s Super Bowl LVII team.

KR/PR Avery Williams
Williams led the NFL in average yards per punt return in 2022 (16.2) and has returned 58 punts for 630 yards over his career. Williams also returned 54 kicks for 1,211 yards, averaging 22.4 yards per return. He was signed by the Eagles in March and released in August.
TE Kylen Granson
Signed to a one-year contract, Granson finished his fifth professional season with career-lows in receptions (seven), targets (nine) and receiving yards (40) in 17 games. Granson excelled on special teams, logging 305 special teams snaps and 15 tackles.
OLB Azeez Ojulari
Ojulari saw action in three games before spending most of the season on IR.

WR Terrace Marshall
After spending 2025 on the Eagles’ practice squad, Marshall signed a future contract with the Dolphins. Marshall Jr. has appeared in 43 career games with 17 starts in four seasons with Carolina (2021-23) and Las Vegas (2024), recording 67 receptions for 808 yards (12.1 average) and one touchdown. He entered the NFL as a second-round pick (59th overall) by Carolina in the 2021 NFL Draft. He played collegiately at LSU (2018-20), where he was part of the 2019 National Championship team and appeared in 32 career games with 20 starts, recording 106 receptions for 1,594 yards (15.0 avg.) and 23 touchdowns.
OLB Ogbo Okornokwo:Ugh
Okoronkwo played just one game this season and landed on IR.
