Liverpool face incredibly difficult decisions during the second half of the year. The Reds have some true team icons facing departures.

Ibrahima Konate is out of contract, for example, and looks increasingly likely to leave when his contract ends. Liverpool have been in talks with him for 18 months without making a solid progress.
Andy Robertson is another whose contract is expiring. In fact, he almost left in January, only for the club to decide their depth was not strong enough to approve a transfer.
However, in the summer Robertson’s departure seems inevitable.
And then there is Mo Salah. That’s a complicated question.
Liverpool’s Mo Salah’s stance
BBC Sport reports that Liverpool will not want Salah to leave on a free transfer when his contract expires in 2027. It is a very strong suggestion that they will look to sell this summer.

There is strong interest from the Saudi Pro League for a move at the end of the season. Karim Benzema’s move from Al-Ittihad to Al-Hilal has opened the door incredibly wide to move to the former.
