Starbucks strengthens the presence in Peru with two new points of sale

Starbucks and his license operator Delosi have opened two more points of sale in Peru, expanding their support point in the country.

One is in the national arrivals area of ​​Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima and the other is in the Central Peruvian city of Huánuco.

The airport site is the third Starbucks in Jorge Chávez, joining places in national and international games areas.

A fourth running will open in Peru Plaza Mezzanine at the Lima airport.

The Huánuco store is located in the true city square and has 18 staff members.

The Starbucks – Delosi Network now extends to 13 Peruvian cities: Arequipa, Cajamarca, Chiclayo, Chimbote, Cusco, Huancayo, Huánuco, Ica, Iquitos, Juliaca, Lima, Piura and Trujillo.

Delosi and Starbucks operate more than 120 stores in 12 cities in Peru, directly using 1,700 people.

The new locations were built using materials of local origin and incorporated measures to reduce their environmental impact, such as energy efficiency characteristics, water savings facilities and waste management practices.

Interiors include murals that reflect local art and culture.

Starbucks now has more than 1,800 points of sale in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The brand arrived in 2002 with openings in Puerto Rico and Mexico, and opened its first South American store in Lima, Peru, in 2003.

It currently operates in 26 markets throughout the region and 89 internationally.
