The No. 7 Miami Hurricanes face the second-seeded Purdue Boilermakers in the second round of the NCAA West Region Tournament on Sunday. Both teams have made great strides in tournaments over the past five years. The Canes were part of the Final Four in 2023, while the Boilermakers were in the Sweet 16 last year and were national runners-up to UConn in 2024.

Miami advanced with an 80-66 victory over Missouri in Friday’s first-round matchup. On the other hand, Purdue defeated Queens University 104-71.
