Mbappé’s interview
In a recent interview with the media, the Real Madrid star spoke about his injury and how it was difficult for him to arrive at the correct diagnosis of his setback.
“At one point I went through a lot of frustration, anger and anxiety, because I didn’t know what I was suffering.” -he began.

About the World Cup and the National Team
The Frenchman was then asked how he would manage his minutes ahead of the FIFA World Cup, especially given his recent injury.
“There is no debate. I have played in 2 World Cups, I have won one, and you have already seen how I have arrived, playing every game for my club,” he said, stating that there will be no compromise.

Finally, Mbappé expressed his opinion on the likelihood of Zinedine Zidane taking the reins of the French team from Didier Deschamps after the World Cup.
“Zidane as France’s next coach? The president and the federation are the ones who control the moment.”
“They will decide when they will announce the new coach. We will see who it will be, I don’t know (smiling).” he added.
