Salah will end his nine-year spell at Anfield in the summer after a mutual agreement was reached between Liverpool and the Egyptian.

The 33-year-old’s list of achievements includes a record three PFA Player of the Year awards and four Premier League Golden Boots, with team honors won including Premier League titles, Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup and two League Cups, as well as an FA Community Shield.
Salah’s 255 goals for Liverpool to date make him the third highest scorer in the club’s history. He is also the foreign footballer with the most goals in Premier League history.
In an emotional message published through his social networks, Salah announced his decision to leave Liverpool and said that he will never forget the impact the club has had on him.

“Hello everyone, unfortunately the day has come. This is the first part of my farewell. I will leave Liverpool at the end of the season.
“I wanted to start by saying that I never imagined to what extent this club, this city, these people would become part of my life.
“Liverpool is not just a football club, it is a passion, it is a story, it is a spirit. I cannot explain it in words to anyone who is not part of this Club.
“We celebrated the victory, we won the most important trophies and we fought together in the most difficult moment of our lives.
“I want to thank everyone who was part of this club during my time here, especially my teammates past and present.
