Jim Cramer gave Top information about Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE:CAR), sharing a game plan on what to buy, sell and hold right now. One caller asked how the company could benefit from the growing demand for “complex cooling solutions” required by data center construction nationwide. Cramer responded:

No you won’t, if you want to do that, that’s Vertiv. Vertiv is still the one… Carrier just doesn’t, Carrier doesn’t have the horses.

Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE:CARR) offers climate and energy solutions through its refrigeration and HVAC products and services. Cramer analyzed the stock’s performance during the episode aired on March 3, as he said:

It’s been a good year for Carrier Global, the heating, ventilation and air conditioning company, with shares up 16% so far in 2026. When Carrier reported a month ago, its bottom line and top results were a little weaker than expected. This is due to the weakness of residential construction in North America, we all know that.

And I think their full-year forecast was justifiably a little cautious. But within that disappointment, Carrier is increasingly a two-speed story. The residential business is very cyclical and is still in the downturn phase of the boom and bust cycle. But its commercial HVAC and aftermarket business is doing extremely well, in part because it has some exposure to the data center. It doesn’t hurt that Carrier fits the HALO rubric, heavy assets and low obsolescence. You know, we like that during the show.
