The Reds were thrashed 4-0 by Manchester City in the FA Cup last weekend to continue a challenging campaign.
The result was Liverpool’s 15th defeat of the season in all competitions, the most in a single campaign in a decade. Liverpool have also lost five games by a margin of three or more goals in 2025-26.
Dugarry has predicted another heavy defeat for Liverpool on Wednesday night, against a PSG side who easily beat Chelsea in the last 16. Speaking to RMC Sport, Dugarry said that Arne Slot’s team “does not play together”. He believes the contest will be a “walk in the park” for Paris Saint-Germain.
“It’s going to be a walk in the park, honestly. Liverpool are disastrous. 14 wins, 10 losses and 7 draws since the start of the season in the league. They are catastrophic.

“I’m not going to say that they have bad players, but they don’t play together. In my opinion, the difference in level is colossal. I think PSG will secure the quarterfinals in the first leg.
“Have you seen Liverpool play? They are catastrophic! They have no legs, they have nothing. Technically they have good players, they are not clumsy, but they play at a snail’s pace.”
“When you see the intensity that PSG manages to bring, with their legs behind them, with their mental strength and everything they have recovered… There is no comparison between the two teams. It’s going to be a massacre!”
