Patrick Reed became one of the few players in Masters Tournament history to record two eagles in the same round of the event, and he did so inside the first eight holes of the front nine at Augusta National on Thursday, April 9.
Reed took an early lead with a 27-foot eagle putt from the back fringe on the par-5 second hole, putt in behind Kurt Kitayama and then regained the lead when he holed a 56-foot eagle putt on the par-5 eighth to lower his score to 5 under.
