Fresh off a trip to the National Championship game, Wisconsin Badgers men’s hockey defenseman Aiden Dubinsky has signed a professional tryout contract with the Laval Rocket.

The Rocket have already made the playoffs this season and are the AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadians.

The Canadiens are also in the Stanley Cup playoffs and have a huge superstar on their hands with a 50-goal scorer. Cole Caufield, a native of Mosinee, Wisconsin, played college hockey with the Badgers.

Anyway, now all eyes are on Dubinsky. The senior defenseman is one of the notable players leaving this Badgers team, but he’s clearly already on to bigger and better things.
