Trotter has been a player linked to Denver in the weeks leading up to the NFL draft by various means, and could provide adequate depth behind starting linebackers Alex Singleton and Justin Strnad.Trotter (6-2, 237 pounds) was a redshirt sophomore who played at both West Virginia and Missouri, making 176 total tackles (79 solo, 97 assisted), 17 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, one interception and three pass deflections. Trotter’s profile at the NFL combine compares him to Nick Bolton of the Kansas City Chiefs, whom Denver faces twice a year.
The NFL draft is just a few days away. Who will the Broncos ultimately choose? Keep an eye on Trotter.
