The NFL Draft has arrived. No more guesswork or hypotheticals. Five months of preparations and the world’s biggest job interview will now become a reality.

Viewers have become accustomed to certain similarities. Top quarterbacks, edge defenders, offensive linemen and cornerbacks are at the top, while running backs, safeties and linebackers have less priority at the top. In 2026, they discard almost all trends and positional trends.

The offensive line is one of the most intriguing position groups in this draft. Like most groups, OL doesn’t have Joe Thomas. That kind of elite at the top. The top 6 tackles bring something different, but almost all of them have a factor that teams will have to consider. Side specific (LT vs RT), some have limited initial settings, others are undersized.

The offensive line group may not have anyone we’ll call the best offensive lineman in the league in a few years, but it has several players who could be starters for more than a decade.
