Honeywell agreed to sell its Productivity Solutions and Services unit to Brady Corporation for $1.4 billion in cash, a move that advances the restructuring of Honeywell’s portfolio ahead of a planned corporate breakup. The transaction, announced Monday, is expected to close in the second half of 2026, pending regulatory approval. PSS, which makes barcode readers, mobile computers and printing solutions for warehousing and logistics, generated about $1.1 billion in revenue in 2025 and has approximately 3,000 employees. The deal values PSS at approximately eight times 2025 EBITDA. Brady expects the acquisition to be accretive to adjusted diluted earnings per share in the first year and targets at least $25 million in annual cost synergies within three years.
