The NFL Draft has arrived. No more guesswork or hypotheticals. Five months of preparations and the world’s biggest job interview will now become a reality.
Viewers have become accustomed to certain similarities. Top quarterbacks, edge defenders, offensive linemen and cornerbacks are at the top, while running backs, safeties and linebackers have less priority at the top. In 2026, they discard almost all trends and positional trends.
The 2026 draft has been called a quarterback draft. While that perception is accurate, it is not a literal representation. There is a prospect who should become a franchise quarterback.
All other players from QB2-QB26 had less than ideal evaluations. While only one day one starter is expected at the position, there are plenty of prospects to consider, even if they could use some development.
