The Denver Broncos added an offensive lineman during the 2026 NFL draft last week: Boise State’s Kage Casey in the fourth round. After that, Denver signed Iowa State offensive tackle Tyler Miller and Weber State lineman Gavin Ortega as undrafted free agents.

All five of the Broncos’ starting offensive linemen will return this season, so incoming rookies will compete for reserve roles this summer.

Miller played right tackle in college and is likely a swing tackle prospect in the NFL. Ortega was also a tackle in college, but could be a candidate to move inside to guard or center as a pro. Casey is also a versatile prospect. Casey was a left tackle with the college football Broncos, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see him used at tackle/guard in Year 1.

Here’s a look at the projected offensive line depth chart heading into the summer.

  • Depth: Marques Cox, Tyler Miller, Gavin Ortega, Nash Jones

Several players will be backups at multiple positions, such as Palczewski and Casey, who will provide coverage at both tackle and guard. Throckmorton and Peart will be key veteran backups to watch this summer as younger linemen fight for their spots.

Broncos veterans report for the start of the offseason program on Monday, and rookie minicamp begins later in the week (May 8-10).
