Earlier on Saturday, Lando Norris took victory in the sprint race ahead of his McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri.
Antonelli finished sixth after receiving a five-second penalty for exceeding track limits and losing two places.
The Italian teenager leads his Mercedes teammate George Russell by seven points in the drivers’ championship.
With thunderstorms forecast in Miami on Sunday, the start of the race has been brought forward three hours to 18:00 BST (13:00 local time).

What is the weather forecast for the Miami GP?
Formula 1 said the decision to bring forward the grand prix was due to the weather forecast which is expected to bring more intense storms later in the afternoon, close to the originally planned race start time of 4pm local time.
