Dubai-based hospitality investment and property development company Select Group has expanded its hospitality platform in the UK with the purchase of three Delta Hotels by Marriott hotels, golf resorts and country clubs.
The properties comprise Delta Hotels Breadsall Priory Country Club in Derbyshire, Delta Hotels Tudor Park Country Club in Maidstone, Kent, and Delta Hotels St Pierre Country Club in Chepstow, Wales.
The three resorts span more than 900 acres and have a total of 380 rooms.
The transaction increases Select Group’s UK golf resort portfolio to five properties and more than 530 rooms, following its previous acquisitions of The Mere Golf Resort & Spa in Cheshire and Old Thorns Hotel & Resort in Hampshire.
In 2023, the three newly acquired properties were renamed Delta Hotels by Marriott.

Select Group announced plans to implement operational improvements across all three sites, focusing on areas such as guest experience, leisure facilities, golf operations, events, wellness offerings and asset performance.
The purchase comes as rural hospitality, golf tourism, wellness travel and experience-based stays continue to attract interest from guests and investors.
Earlier this month, Marriott International announced the conversion of two hotels in Lima, Peru, adding them to its portfolio of luxury brands, with both properties expected to be completed in 2028.
