Dublin (AP) – Justin Jefferson has something special planned for Dublin when the Vikings face Steelers in Croke Park.
It is the first time that Ireland organizes a regular seasonal NFL game, so the Minnesota open receiver wants to make it memorable with a new turn for its TouchDown dance.

“We have a small addition to the Griddy, a small edition of Ireland. With luck, I can start it on Sunday,” Jefferson said Friday after practice at the Ireland Sport Campus. “I definitely want to make a show, especially because this is the first time we play in front of people from Ireland.”
An Irish Times asked: “Will you call him the O’Griddy?”
Smiling, Jefferson replied: “I could. I could take that, actually.”
Jefferson, who has not scored since Minnesota’s 27-24 victory over the Chicago Bears in the first game of the season, said he has combined some investigations with his knowledge of the Irish culture to increase his routine.

The Vikings, like the Steelers, landed in Ireland on Friday morning and the team will stay later because they play the following week in London against the Cleveland Browns. It is the first time that an NFL team has played consecutive games in different international cities.
“It is such a great opportunity for our organization,” said chief coach Kevin O’Connell about playing abroad.
Vikings have 4-0 in international regular seasonal games, all in London.
They beat New York Jets led by the Aaron Rodgers 23-17 last season at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. In that game, the Vikings had three interceptions, including a Andrew van Ginkel pick-6.
