De Mine, Iowa – The school council said on Friday that federal immigration agents detained the head of public schools in Iowa in the capital, Iowa.
The head of the school’s board of directors, Jackie Norris, said in a statement that public school employees de Mine, the Director of Public Schools Ian Roberts were held by customs and customs enforcement agents in the United States on Friday morning. A spokesman for the region said they have no additional information to share it at this time.
“We have no confirmed information about the reason for the detention of Dr. Roberts or the next possible steps,” Norris said in her statement.
American immigration and customs records appear in her reservation in a province prison in West Iowa. But Botawatami Provincial Prison employee said he was not currently in his prison. The prison in the council is about 130 miles to the west.
He has no information on Roberts’s arrest. An email message was not returned to the National Media Line in ICE, and his phone has not been answered. Likewise, additional calls were not answered to other regional offices in Omaha, Nebraska and Kondas City, Missouri.
Roberts, 52, began his term as schools for Di Mainen schools, which serve 30,000 students, in July 2023. The CV of Roberts listed on the boycott site says he was born to Jeanna immigrant parents and spent most of his childhood in Brooklyn, New York.
The Copen State University website includes Roberts Graduate Graduates website, which graduated from the school in Baltimore in 1998. In that, Roberts said that his father immigrated to the United States in the eighties, and his mother migrated in the early first decade of the twentieth century.
