Jared McCain will be reasvaluted in approximately four weeks after thumb surgery

We already knew that Jared McCain underwent surgery for his injured thumb, but now we have an official schedule for his Sixers recovery.

The team has announced that McCain yesterday (September 30) underwent successful surgery to repair UCL tear into its right thumb. The surgery was performed by Dr. Michelle Carlson in HSS, and the Sixers have said that McCain will be reevaluated in approximately four weeks.

Last Friday, Shams Charania de ESPN reported that McCain will leave for 4-6 weeks, so it is encouraging to see that this equipment update reaches the shortest side of that timeline.

If McCain can return exactly in four weeks, that would mean that he will return on September 28 and only fail three regular seasonal games, which would not be a bad result at all. If McCain’s absence extends to six weeks, he will lose 10 games.

For now, as McCain begins to recover, it is sure to say that he has been high, high Spirits after his surgery … Yesterday he had some hilarious moments on social networks.

With luck, once McCain has returned from his thumb injury, he can enjoy a long period of good health. It seems ready to take off in Philadelphia based on the short but excellent 23 -games race that organized last season.

Meanwhile, the positive thing is that at least gives VJ Edgecombe the opportunity to show in a few additional minutes to open the season.
