Hwang of South Korea to the advantage of Hawaii LPGA

Hwang You-min of South Korea dismissed a better of the 10 low torque 62 to increase the advantage of three times on Thursday after 36 holes in the LPGA Lotte championship in Hawaii.

Hwang, a 22 -year -old who played with the invitation of a sponsor, published the best round in the tournament since he moved to Hoakalei Country Club four years ago, building a total of 159 under a couple of 129.

Playing in the final group outside the first tee, opened Eagle-Birdie and after a bogey in the fourth caught the rest of the road.

That included four in his last five holes, since he went through the night leader Akie Iwai of Japan and the American Jessica Porvasnik, who were tied in second place in 132.

Iwai loaded a shot of four low 68 and Porvasnik 65. There were two blows to the Australian Gabriela Ruffels and Nasa Hataoka from Japan, who shot 69 by 134.

“First, I broke my best score in life,” Hwang said. “So at the same time I broke the course record, so I feel very good.

“Tee to Green, especially my iron shot was perfect. I also felt good for every club I play for the second shot too.

“My placement I thought it was perfect.”

Hwang is pushing him in the event for the third time, but said he feels a little more pressure while preparing to address the LPGA Tour rating.

“I feel nervous, at the same time, very excited,” he said.

Iwai said that the afternoon conditions were different from those faced in El Cardado on Wednesday morning 64. He opened with three consecutive Birdies and after a bogey in the room he had only two more Birdies.

“I felt a small difference, specifically in the green,” he said. “(It was) to be difficult to see the line,” he said.

Once again, Iwai played with her twin sister, Chisato, who loaded a 66 for a part of the eighth in eight bass in a group that also included the number two of the world Nelly Korda.

Korda, the best classified player in the field, recorded a five under 67.

“I would say that the main difference between today and yesterday was that the putts fell,” Korda said. “It was a little rude today compared to yesterday, so it was fun to play, show my creative side.”
