The failed offers of Bayern Munich to sign Nick Woltemade and Florian Wirtz this summer obtained many criticisms for the club.

Both players were finally attracted to the Premier League, which is far ahead of the Bavarian in terms of television revenues.

However, the Bayern CEO, Jan-Christian Dreeen, does not believe that Bayern has to stop in future transfers as a result.

“We can pay any transfer we want. We have an excellent capital relationship, and FC Bayern is very well financially.

“But we want to be able to pay a player, without having to run to the bank. That is not in the Bayern DNA of the FC,” he told Welt Am Sonunta.

They then discussed in detail the financial breakdown of the largest teams in Europe in terms of annual spending power.

“The lower team (placed) in the English League, with € 125 million, earns 60 million euros more in revenue by the media than us.

“Liverpool has 200 million euros, Barcelona and Real Madrid each have 160 million euros,” explained the 58 -year -old man with an ironic smile.

Clearly, Dresen is not deterred by the growing financial abyss between the German record champions and the other European elites.
