Norfolk, Virginia (AP) -Colton Joseph represented five touchdowns and Old Dominion exceeded the coast of Carolina 47-7 on Saturday.
Joseph launched four TouchDown passes in the first half and added a 50-yard scoring race in the third quarter to lead the monarchs (3-1, 1-0 Sun Belt). It finished 17 of 30 for 315 yards, including three touchdowns a na’eem abdul-rahim gladding.

Old Dominion jumped early when Joseph found gladding for a 3 -yard score at the opening. Riley Callaghan added a 27-yard field goal before Joseph hit Ke’Travion Hargrove for a TouchDown of 80 yards to be 17-0 early in the second.
Joseph and Gladding connected twice more in the second quarter of 13 and 10 yards while the monarchs built an advantage of 34-0 in the half time. Callaghan added three field goals, including 22 yards in the third and a 26 yards in the room.
Carolina Coastal (2-2, 1-1 Sun Belt) avoided the bleached when Tad Hudson launched a 3-yard touchdown pass to Cameron Wright at the beginning of the last quarter.
Hargrove totaled 132 yards of the scrimmage, while TRE ‘Brown III added 85 reception yards for Old Dominion. The monarchs exceeded 619-189 and forced two ball losses.
