Around 11 pm, the school took the following statement on its Facebook page:
The Campus of the State University of the South Carolina is locked after a shooting. The concert of return home scheduled for tonight has been canceled. If he is not a current student, do not try to come to the campus. Public security has asked the State Division for the application of the law that investigates.
