McCaffrey was a full participant in Friday’s session and was not listed on the official injury report for Week 13. Head coach Kyle Shanahan after Friday’s practice offered some concise insight into why McCaffrey had two days off instead of the typical one.

“Just the Monday night game,” Shanahan said. “I just needed it.”
The 49ers didn’t add any injuries to McCaffrey on the participation report, which was always a reason for optimism for him in Week 13. On the other hand, a red flag will always go up for McCaffrey when he misses more than his usual Wednesday practice.
However, San Francisco’s injury report was not entirely clear. They ruled out three players for their game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday:

Brock Purdy Injury Update
Purdy had no lingering effects from his toe injury after the 49ers’ win over the Carolina Panthers on Monday night. He participated fully in all three days of practice and is not listed on the injury report. Purdy will be under center for the 49ers on Sunday in Cleveland.

Ricky Pearsall injury update
Like Purdy, Pearsall breezed through another game. He also participated fully throughout the week while recovering from a knee injury that kept him sidelined for six weeks. Pearsall is also not listed on the injury report.
