Washington– President Donald Trump said Sunday that he will release the results of an MRI test he received in October.
“If you want to release it, I will release it,” the president said while speaking to reporters during his return to Washington from Florida.
He said the MRI results were “perfect.”
The White House has so far refused to provide details about why Trump had an MRI during his examination last month, or on any part of his body.
Press secretary Carolyn Leavitt said the president received “advanced imaging” at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center “as part of his routine physical examination” and that the results showed Trump remained in “exceptional physical health.”
Trump added on Sunday that he had “no idea” which part of his body underwent an MRI.
“It was just an MRI,” he said. “What body part? It wasn’t the brain because I took a cognitive test and aced it.”
