Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns have had an impressive 2025-26 season, as they have a record of 32-22. This is much better compared to their struggles from the past few seasons.

Unfortunately for the Suns, they have had to deal with injury issues throughout the season. Jalen Green has been battling constant hamstring injuries and Booker has also been dealing with ankle issues recently.
Booker’s ankle problems continue to be a problem for Phoenix
Head coach Jordan Ott wants to be careful with both Green and Booker after recovering from their injuries. The situation with Green is particularly concerning because they are worried he could re-aggravate his hamstring.
Booker returned a little earlier than expected from his ankle injury, so the Suns also want to be careful with his return. Given that Tuesday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks was the first leg of a back-to-back, Booker’s presence in the second leg is questionable.

FURTHER:Devin Booker’s ankle injury could be a nightmare for the Phoenix Suns’ promising season
On Wednesday, the Suns will play the Oklahoma City Thunder. Considering it’s an important game that pits them against the defending champions, the Suns would love to have Booker and Green.
However, the Suns will only make that decision when the day comes. After the Mavericks game, the Suns will give the players some time to recover and find out if they can play.
“Seeing how he feels, usually the next day is the tough day. For now, let’s just make sure the swelling is a little bit down and manageable,” Booker said after the Suns’ win against the Mavericks.

The Suns are taking the right approach, especially with what happened to Green earlier this season. He was ready to play in November, but after re-injuring his hamstring, the Suns have become more cautious.
It will be tough against the Thunder, but they will be prepared to compete. With Dillon Brooks playing high-level basketball this season, the Suns will always be a threat.
