Flatbed truck freight carrier Ace Doran announced Wednesday that it has acquired the equipment from NHH Services.

NHH, headquartered in Tipton, Indiana, has a fleet of 50 trucks providing specialized transportation throughout the United States and Canada. The carrier’s agents and owner-operators specialize in flatbed, heavy-duty and oversized cargo.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The deal provides Ace Doran with additional capacity and a greater presence in the Midwest.

“Their strong customer relationships and heavy-duty transportation experience further expand our presence in the heavy-duty transportation market and strengthen our ability to support complex transportation needs across the country,” said Jim Collins, president of Ace Doran, in a news release.

Cincinnati-based Ace Doran is listed with 146 power units, according to data from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. The transport and logistics provider focuses on flatbed and dry van transport.

NHH employees and drivers will join Ace Doran as part of a new division. Ace Doran revamped its RoadMasters unit last year, which serves the southwest.
