Recapping Jesse Minter’s media tour at the NFL Combine.
Mike Minter has had a long week and has enjoyed every moment. He spoke to the media before the thick of things began at the NFL Combine. He was a guest of Mike Florio and Chris Simms of Pro Football Talk. He was asked where Baltimore needs to improve to generate immediate success.
That was just part of his press tour in Indianapolis at the NFL Combine. He also met with Pat McAfee, Rich Eisen and SiriusXM NFL radio, among others.
None of this was small talk. They were windows of opportunity to explain how he intends to shape the next chapter of this great organization.

Baltimore is not a rebuilding franchise looking for identity. This is a team with playoff expectations. Theirs is a physical style of football and a locker room built to compete now.
This makes the margin of error smaller. The areas that need improvement are already obvious. Eric DeCosta and his staff will be allowed to fill their needs in free agency.
Minter understands that quick results are not achieved through cosmetic enhancements. They come from strengthening the foundations. As long as you stick to that theory, you’ll be fine. It’s a tried and true method that has worked for many great Ravens teams, including two Super Bowl champions.
