CINCINNATI — A shooting early Sunday at a crowded nightclub and concert venue in Cincinnati left nine people injured, police said. There were no immediate arrests.
The shooting victims were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, Adam Heaney, the city’s interim police chief, said at a news conference.
Heaney said between 500 and 600 people were at the Riverfront Live nightclub when the gunfire rang out at 1 a.m. He declined to provide additional details, due to the integrity of the investigation.
The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said it was assisting in the investigation.
