“We see violent incidents such incidents over and over again throughout the country, but instead of taking action, Pakari, who represents Joseph, holds in a press release,” said Civil Lawyer, Bakari Silvis, who represents Youssef, said in a press statement. “It is criminal violence and ill -treatment and must end.”
The lawsuit claims that the members of the brotherhood began to hit Joseph in December 2022 by stealing his food and money, and preventing him from sleeping and threatening him.
It also puts a second case of the alleged ill -treatment, claiming that Nu Eta Hitting left another student with the torn ACL in the fall of 2022. According to the lawsuit, the University of South Mississippi was not investigating the accident or taking measures against the brothers.
