Houston – On Thursday, a man from Texas faces his execution for killing his 13 -month -old girlfriend during the distress of my torture.

Pleen Milam35 years old, he was convicted of the killing of Amora Carson in December 2008 in his articles in Rosk Province in East Texas.

Melam was to receive a fatal injection Thursday evening in the state prison in Huntville. Almost at the same time, Melham had been executed, and the authorities in Alabama were planning to implement Jeffrey West To shoot a killer of a fuel station employee during the 1997 robbery.

Melham claimed that he was innocent, then his girlfriend Jessica Carson blames for his killing and claimed that she was the one who claimed that the girl was owned by a demon. She was tried separately from Melham and sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of conditional release after being convicted of intentional killing with the help of Melham. Both were 18 at that time.

Prosecutors said that Melham Savagia beat the girl with a hammer and also, strangled her, and her distribution for 30 hours.

A legal pathologist who conducted the autopsy found that the child has multiple skull fractures along with broken weapons, legs, ribs and many signs of the bite. The pathology specialist in the trial witnessed that he could not determine a specific cause of death because the girl was subjected to deadly disorders that are likely to be fatal.

Melham’s lawyers asked the US Supreme Court to stop his execution, on the pretext that his conviction was partially based on the evidence of a “accredited” bite of “now accredited” in addition to other unreliable DNA evidence. Melham’s lawyers have also argued that he was intellectually disabled and therefore not qualified to implement.

In their contact with the Supreme Court, Melham’s lawyers claimed that Carson had suffered from religious illusions and suffered from a nervous optical perception that caused her to see evil distortions in the face of her daughter, causing the child to attack.

“Carson was the one who caused her daughter’s death. There is no reliable evidence that Melam played any role in it,” said Melam’s lawyers.

Governmental and State Appeals Courts have previously rejected the efforts made by Melham’s lawyers to stay his execution. On Tuesday, the Amnesty and Afmas Council denied that Melham asked to move the death penalty to a lower penalty kick. Melham had a former executions 2019 and 2021 That remained.

The Prosecutor’s Office in Texas said that Melam’s allegations that an intellectual disabled had been rejected in the provisions of the previous court and a recent review of the DNA evidence used in his trial “continues to link it to the body of things.”

The Public Prosecutor’s Office also said in the court documents that even if Bitemark and DNA evidence was excluded, there was other evidence indicating his sins, including his efforts to hide the evidence and recognition he presented to a nurse after his arrest.

“The authorities initially dealt with Melam and Karson as sad parents.

But Carson later told the investigators that Melham told her that things were “owned by a devil” because “God is tired of lying to Melham,” according to court records.

The use of the evidence of the sting mark has been questioned in recent years, with a report issued by the House of Sciences and Technology in Science and Technology in 2016, saying, “It is not scientifically trusted at the present time.”

Jimson said he still could not determine the motivation, believing that the demand to expel evil spirits was just a means of Mila and Karson to cover up their crime.

Jimson said: “It is very difficult to face the idea that someone will be satisfied with the torture of a child. This is something that reduces us all and it is just a very difficult thing.”

If the execution is carried out, Melam will be the fifth person to be removed this year in Texas, and he is the most crowded in the country death penalty state. If both executions are carried out on Thursday, this would reach the total death penalty for this year to 33 death sentences at the country level. Florida leads the nation This year, with 12 executions, conducted so far in 2025 with two other states in mid -October.
