Cybersecurity provider CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:CRWD) is one of Jim Cramer’s top software stocks in the current era of AI investing. Throughout 2025, the CNBC TV host stated on multiple occasions that the company and its peers would benefit from growth in data usage due to artificial intelligence and threats to US cyber infrastructure. Shares of CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:CRWD) have risen 45% over the past year and 46% so far this year. Wells Fargo reiterated a $525 stock price target and a Buy rating on the stock on May 5. Previously, Mizuho had upgraded the price target on CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:CRWD) shares to $520 from $490 and raised the rating to Outperform from Neutral. The bank highlighted that the cybersecurity company faced stable demand for its services. Cramer has recently discussed CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:CRWD) in the context of stock ETFs, and this appearance was no exception:
“The only thing that’s changed is that cybersecurity got lumped together because of that stupid ETF. And now it’s finally split up, so now you have CrowdStrike and Palo Alto, really moving like they should. Because of the things that were coming out of Anthropic, you acquire cybersecurity to…George Kurtz, the CEO of CrowdStrike, is probably doing most of what needs to be done, one of the guardrails, very important.”
