A Texas woman hopes to raise awareness in social networks about the warning signals that was lost before being diagnosed with cancer.

On September 29, Jessica Farrington, 45, published a photo on Tiktok sharing a message about her health trip.

“My body whispered long before I never shouted,” he wrote. “At first, it was the little things. Fatigue. I attributed to being an occupied mother, night sweats that blamed hormones, itching into the skin that I thought it was from water or the laundry detergent, the swollen lymph nodes that I thought would go.”

“I kept brushing them, convincing myself that it was stress, lack of sleep or simply ‘normal life’,” he said. “But those whispers were really my body trying to tell me something bigger.”

Farrington explained that now, looking back, he realized that these “subtle changes” were the first signs of non -Hodgkin follicular lymphoma, which was diagnosed in March 2025.

Folicular lymphoma is a slow growth cancer that can appear in lymph nodes, bone marrow and other organs, according to the Cleveland clinic. Symptoms may include fever, sweating and chills, fatigue, weight loss without known cause and painless swelling in the neck, armpits or English.

“I would like to have heard before, but the retrospective always feels clearer,” he continued. “That is why I share this: not scare, but remind you that your body is wise. If something feels off, do not ignore it. Do not wait for shouting like me. Listening to your body could save your life.”

In another video, Farrington shared more details about the events that led to his diagnosis. She said she found a lump in the armpit that finally pushed her for a doctor to review her.

“It started as a hard lump size of a pea.” She explained in the comments. “After a while, one more pair appeared in a cluster in the same area.”

The content creator said his doctor ordered a mammogram and an ultrasound of the lymph node in his armpit. The results seemed “suspicious”, so they made a biopsy that finally led him to his diagnosis.

Since then, Farrington has used its platform to raise awareness about early detection and encourage others to stay aware of their health.

“Your body is always trying to tell you something,” he said. “Pay attention and always go see a doctor if something worries you.”

Farrington also tells people: “I feel it is important to spread awareness and open that discussion about these symptoms, which can often be overlooked and brushed because they are the symptoms of many other things.”
