The Eastern Pacific will remain active and produce another round of heavy tropical rain in a moisture surge associated with Tropical Storm Raymond on Monday and Tuesday. That will increase the risk of flash flooding, as several more centimeters of rain are likely to fall.

As moisture slowly moves east, a high risk of Level 2 of 4 flash flooding is present through Saturday, with flood watches issued across southeastern California, most of Arizona, southern Utah and western Colorado.

On Sunday, the flood risk will shift further south into southeastern Arizona and southwestern New Mexico.
